Plywood adhesive is generally used for splicing between cutting wood. many wood processing manufacturers can understand it. However, many people may not necessarily know the difference between one-component panel adhesive and two-component panel adhesive. As a production and sales company with 15 years of adhesive R & D and manufacturing experience, Yuan Yijia briefly explains the differences between them:
1 ,As the name suggests,
one-component plywood adhesive is a kind of environmental friendly and non-toxic water-borne adhesive, which is generally used for finger joint, tenon joint and panel joining between some solid wood boards. Its adhesion is stronger than that of ordinary white emulsion adhesive, and it is simple to use and easy for workers to operate. Therefore, it can also be called "assembly glue" or "mortise and tenon glue". Of course, in the process of use, the corresponding curing agent can also be added for panel use, which can greatly improve its adhesive ability.
2,Two component plywood adhesive
We generally call it water-based polymer isocyanate wood adhesive, which is a kind of fast water-based adhesive, which is often used for splicing between large-scale structural glues. The two-component plywood adhesive is made by special formula and process, and needs to be mixed with curing agent in a certain proportion. Adding curing agent can accelerate the curing time, improve the bonding strength, and It can improve the water resistance, high and low temperature resistance, etc., and is mostly used for the bonding of solid wood products.
In general, the one-component glue can be used for some simple assembly and panel use, and the two-component glue is more used for splicing between large-scale boards and solid wood, with higher strength and weather resistance.
